I had a lovely stay at Hotel Cristal. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making me feel at home. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the subway with easy access to the city center. The breakfast spread was delightful.

The pillows were uncomfortable.

Here’s why it’s a mixed review

We had a beautiful Double Room with friendly staff greeting us at every turn! Not to mention, the breakfast spread offered something for everyone, making mornings a delight.

The parking situation could be tricky, as street spots fill rapidly! The room could also use better ventilation. it felt stuffy at times.

Delicious breakfast but some room issues

Breakfast was a highlight, offering a delightful variety of German specialties. The staff was courteous, making me feel welcome and at ease during my stay. I was impressed by their attention to cleanliness.

Unfortunately, my room lacked adequate ventilation, which made for uncomfortable nights, especially with the warm weather outside. There was also a hair found on the bed, which was less than ideal.

Lack of air conditioning not acceptable!!! No hairdryer in the room disappointing!!! Wifi signal too weak for reliable use!!! Elevator access cumbersome with stairs involved!!!

i really thought this hotel had potential, but the bed was harder than granite and definitely ruined my sleep. breakfast was too congested and absolutely lacked variety. it’s astonishing that you can’t even get a hairdryer in a suite, just disgraceful. after these disappointments, i expected some sort of complimentary gesture, like a room upgrade—but that would be too much to ask. ,

Recommend it for families

We had a spacious family suite that fit us four perfectly! The breakfast was fantastic, offering fruits and lactose-free milk so our kids could enjoy it too.

It wasn’t inexpensive, but considering the stay, still reasonable.

The biggest drawback was the lack of air conditioning. on a warm night, the room temperature soared, making sleep uncomfortable. Accessing the elevator was a hassle due to the number of stairs involved, and the keycard scanning felt overly cumbersome and slow. Breakfast offered a decent selection, but it left much to be desired in terms of quality and variety. My stay was marred by the presence of bed bugs in the first room, which was unacceptable.

The hotel offers a very clean, spacious room, ideal for families. The breakfast buffet is excellent and reasonably priced. The convenient location next to the subway enhances accessibility.
